How cool! They do not fly over here!
Wow is right! In winter we get the white pelicans in our bird sanctuaries on the Mississippi River but we have to go to the Gulf to see these amazing brown ones. You are blessed!
I love them. I need to go to the beach soon!
I'm catching up on blogs & just read your anniversary blog - you are the first ones I know who married in a Sunday service!! I actually wrote a service with a wedding in it for my word & worship class. Next time I see you IRL, I would love to pick your brain about it. To me it makes perfect sense to do that if the couple is from the congregation!!
Honestly, I didn't even know they flew high. I have only seen them hanging out on docks...diving for fish and smelling like fish. They are beautiful!
Totally cool/ No pelicans here, but we do get the canadian geese
The Pelican, the pelican. What a wonderful bird is the pelican. His beak can hold moreThan his belly canOne of my father's favorite poems.
