The Invisible Woman

Hello. Hello? I'm not sure if you can see me. It appears that I am invisible to my family...
Tuesday I got a new haircut and a dark glaze for winter put on my hair. Not one person has noticed. No one.

If you would, help me out here by noticing my new haircut. I like it.

I turn invisible about every six weeks. I feel your pain...

You look so much warmer and more vibrant! It must be your saintly and generous heart responding to the season.

I too have been invisible, even after cutting 6 inches off and changing colors.

I have a mother in my practice who says that the reason kids say DaDa first (instead of MaMa) is that we are like the couch....we are always there, always dependable and don't need to be called. I choose to believe that is why I am sometimes invisible.

I inherited my invisibility from my father. It extends to my car while I drive it. I have to put shiny bright danglies in the windows. Otherwise cars hit me.

I am not kidding.

It is really sad.

But St. C, your hair looks divine.

I'm not only invisible, but inaudible too...disturbing, really.

Dahling St. C! You look so good! Younger, more vibrant, smarter, and dare we say, more alluring than ever.

I got major hair cut off today and all my husband noticed was the receipt. Sigh....

Oooh, one of my favorite dirty jokes involves the invisible woman... but now that I know it is actually you I fell a little bad about that.
