I'm off to the College of Preachers Monday to hear John Bell. I'll preach two sermons to people who I pray will be gentle, kind, and deaf.

You are thinking that I'm doing AN AWFUL LOT of Continuing Ed. these days.

Correct. I'm making up for about ten years of staying home with children and going to nearby events like the Turnip Preaching and Mule Pull Festival or the Karaoke Bar and Grill Homiletical Hash Run. I can't forget to mention the Delta Blues and Bible Thumpers Conference, either.

Up at the Hogwarts Meets Jesus building, I'll be grateful to see Stacey and another favorite blogger who has a cat with extra toes like my Dubby.

Wish I'd see you, too.

Love,

St. Casserole

I am currently at Hogwarts of the South for a workshop on teh Xian Funeral with a known professor from Homies.
So far, so good. But dang those chairs are awful after one hour, let alone two.
Remind me to bring a stadium cushion next time.

Hogwarts for Jesus is STOOPID. I hate it. Hate it hate it hate it.
Can Whistle come here for the week for a sleepover, because I really hate it when I'm here alone with just girlkitty, because she doesn't know how to play anything fun.

Mama says she's hoping for deaf people in her group, too.

Meet me at the Delta Blues and Bible Thumpers Conference next year?

It's been too long since I danced on the levee.

Gee whiz, if I had known you'd be right across the river from me, I'd have come across to see you! Another time-

Aunt Etta Mae says she just hopes its worth your money moving on up to Hogwarts U and all. She plans to listen real close to what her cousins have to say about your new preaching techniques. Oh and would you be sure to bring her home one of their embrodried panties, you know the kind... and the size

You know, the Mule Pull has great theological ties to the importance of our work for the Kingdom. I'm sure you'll be enriched.

Have fun at Hogwarts for Jesus!
