Hurricane Ike appears to be heading North Northwest as it leaves Southern Cuba.
Tracking projections send Ike west of us.
But, as we say around here, "it's too early to tell".

I watch the Weather Channel much these days and i think of you and so many others.
Love the coffee note!
you should have come over to the manse this morning. i had Fair Trade, Mind, Body and Soul.
I am hoping that the coffee gets better, since that's the only thing that is controllable.
And pray for that which cannot be controlled.
Prayers re the coffee and the hurricane.
I'd offer to come make oyu coffee, but it was awful here today too. Must be in the air. I wil prya the some magically appears for you when you need it, and for all of you as you stay glued to the weather channel.
Been praying for Jan (Yearning for God) in Corpus...now it looks like it will head more in her direction than in yours or mine.
Hangin' out the window watching it. Like to broke my neck already.
Hoping it doesn't move any further northeast. Landfall at Freeport or east of there will equal a direct hit on the Houston area.
Wonder why the coffee was so bad?
I love that little stuffie.
Sorry about the rotten coffee. Hope the hurricane doesn't hit either of us, but I don't know where you live!! Thanks for visiting my blog.
Bad coffee is the worst, eh?
St.C, please pray for us today.
The Scientist had to go to San Antonio this morning and won't be able to head for home until around noon tomorrow. I am preparing to hunker down with his 82-year-old mom and three dogs. Remember us.
