Monday Morning

Much doing, being and coping scheduled for this week. At the end of the week, I'll take a blog break for several days. Mr. C. will guest blog if he has time about whatever he thinks is blogworthy.

I'm considering packing the blog with multiple posts each day to entertain myself but don't know if time will allow this.

According to an article I read somewhere....today is the worst day of the year for seasonal affect disorder, post-holiday debt blues and general all around yukkiness.

Let's sing Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry, Be Happy" as loudly as we can, ok?

St. C.

...and I'm restarting my diet for the thousandth time. If that doesn't depress me, I don't know what will. Trying not to go eat cheesecake.

My resolution is to stop using the laptop in the kitchen. This means I had a hard time making myself go fix dinner! I haven't given up on this resolution, because I only made it today...

And I thought I was the only one with kitchen laptop "issues" !

The worst thing is, I pull stuff out of my work bag, and it starts to pile up on the kitchen table, until a cat walks across it and maybe knocks it over, and everything in the pile falls onto a chair or the floor and makes a big--well, you get the picture. The kitchen table, at this moment in time, is a hazard zone. On the other hand, the dining room table is usable, with a clean tablecloth, even! One step at a time...

I have made a resolution.... I am going to set aside time to think every day. Every day. That is my resolution.
