I'm off to the G.A. in Birmingham this morning. I'll be rooming with Cheesehead who said she'll be bringing an extra suitcase of cute shoes. Oh! The competition! I'm sure she'll win but I'll do my best.
Since I wrote last, I've had computer link troubles, a stomach virus and I-can't-remember-what. I've missed you.
More when I return,
St. Casserole

Traveling mercies to you. I hope you're feeling better.
If you see a slim, trim, handsome devil of a fellow, keep looking -- it's not me. But I will be there. Since I'm writing for publications as well as blogging away, I have Press Credentials -- and if you look closely at mine it says "The Presbyterian Minister" prompting folks to ask, "Aren't there others?"
Have a great time!
And I'm glad you are feeling better.
Mr.C's pre-trip commentary:
Both Mrs. C and Mr. C found themselves touched by whatever stomach virus erupted along the Coast and were for several days like what I believe C.S. Lewis said "...adrift on a sea of chaos without a raft of reason to cling to."
We were sick, miserable and the Young Cs were insufficinet nursing.
However, the very thought of driving away in her VW bug fully stocked with coffee pot, Tums, Alleve, Vitamin C, a good book, and without children, laundry, pots and pans and beds and animals--well, it was like a miracle cure. She rose, put on the good jewelry and the red lipstick and drove to Birmingham.
I am sure she will find a computer to post from, but if not, she will be back this weekend.
I hope you and Cheesehead have a great time at the GA. I pray that it will be "predestined" to be a good assembly for all.
I think fun things of ya'll when we were all in Atlanta at the Festival for Homies!
I'm just getting back myself. Be safe, have fun, and I'll be in prayer for ya'll...and buy some more shoes!!!
