My Text for the Red Tent Preaching Conference

My text for the RED TENT PREACHING CONFERENCE will be Psalm 102:3b:

For my days drift away like smoke,
and my bones are hot as burning coals.

I'm preparing the definitive sermon on the theology of hot flashes.

What are you preaching about at the Conference?

Yikes,
St. Casserole

ROTFL.
I love it! You might add a section on Our Lady of the Menopause.

May I participate from a slightly different perspective?

If so, I humbly offer a meditation on Isaiah 49:15: Can a woman forget her nursing child?

Taking Genesis 34:1-2 as my text:
Now Dinah the daughter of Leah, whom she had borne to Jacob, went out to visit the women of the region. When Shechem son of Hamor the Hivite, prince of the region, saw her, he seized her and lay with her by force.

And my sermon will be entitled "Driving Your Beautiful Daughters To and From School May Be Wise."

How about a sermon on the woman who does everything-
Super Proverbs 31 woman- aka elasti-girl...
cooks, cleans, works writes, balances the chek book, drives her children too and from music and drama lessons and does it all with a smile....

If you find her tell her she is wanted at my home!!!

Just want you to know I have done like the woman with long time bleeding, and touched the hem of his garment via some surgeon I know, and no longer have that problem. Now that is not to say I dod not have othe rproblems brought on since said healing, like uncontrollable fits, weight gain, and night sweats. Than you very much.

And may I just say that all this talk about it seems to have brought on hot flashes for me? Because I've had several points in the past few days when my bones have felt exactly as hot as burning coals, very suddenly. It is bizarre! Also? Not sleeping.
