Dang! John Edwards has dropped out of the race to the White House.

Edwards, educated and smart, intrigued me as a candidate and was my #1 choice.

He earned his money rather than inheriting it.

He married a smart woman.

He cares about poor people.

I am so sorry to lose his voice in this endless campaign.

I'm hoping one of them picks him up as a running mate.

Me, too! I've always liked him. I'm willing to vote for whichever of the other two picks him up as a running mate.

On the other side of the political spectrum, I was sad to see Rudy Guiliani drop out.

I also hated to see him drop out.
I really like him and love the way he talks his message and really cares about the poor, homeless, etc.
Hoping for the running mate. I have Elizabeth's book, but have not read it yet.
Now, interstign news...I had a dream about you last night, but don't remeber most of it.
We were neighbors in a big apartment building and could walk out on the balcony and talk to each other in our mini-gardens. Mr. C was very nice and told funny jokes, the cats played together and thats abut all i can remeber.
I think we wer4ein a big city...remeber the scene fro mSuperman where Lois is on her balcony and goes flying with S?

This election is turning from fascinating to knee shaking, scary. I surely pray for our country.

Just reading your post about garage sales. I love them! I also love thrift stores and auctions.
i got a $10 Singer machine in cabinet. It was from the year I was born. I had to pay $68 to get it fixed up, but still...
If you happen to find Tammis Keefe linens, hankies, or tea towels at your garage sales, then please call me. I esp like theo nes with flowers, birds, butterflies and cats.
I will let you know if i see any of your stuff at my spots.
