Your response to my last post about Little Church repairs makes me cry.

Thank you for wanting to help!

If you want to contribute or find out about Little Church's repair needs so you can help, please contact Martha-Lee Bohn (she is auntieflea at American On Line abbreviated dot com) She is the Community Outreach Co-ordinator for the presbytery handling disaster relief.

I feel the Spirit moving. Thank you, God.

Are you allowed to live in where you live if you don't have two first names? Do people ever have hyphenated first names AND hyphenated last names? Doing some cultural education here, and praying for your church!

Susan, not everyone has a double first name down heah, but many of us do. Martha-Lee is a Yankee BTW.

Southerners are famous for using family names for their children. Many of us have names handed down through the generations. How do you use all those names? Double 'em up.

You could add Lee, Carter, Hollis or any other type sur name to yours and we'd be hollaring, "Susan-Lee! etc. etc.

Thank you for posting the e-mail address!
(If I say I'm Barbara-Bee, I'll fit in fine.)

If we e-mail Miss Martha-Lee, will she know who we're talking about when we say St. Casserole and Little Church?

Martha-Lee agreed to handle this so that those interested would have an "official" to speak with and in hopes my private identity will be maintained.

Thank you so much for this! Headed for action!

Double first names are now a bit out of fashion...I think one must be 'of a generation' to have one. Whoops, that's me! Dang, how'd I get to be that!?

Mary Beth, the lil girls down here sport double names: Emma Grace, Catherine Tate, Ann Glenn etc etc.

I'm guessing you are a young gal if you have a double name....

I tried to post this before, but my computer ate my comment.

My son's Godfather is my contractor. He is good, he is honest, he has done church remodels/repairs, he is in discernment for the vocational deaconate.

When you are ready, if you want, email me and I can connect the two of you.

Have made contact with Martha-Lee. Not sure who I will hit up or how much I can get, but I'll send what I can. Dogblogger and I are in the same Sunday School class. Maybe we'll show them the pics.

My grandmother used both of my names but she ran it all together as if in one word. I can't tell you what it is, but the last syllable became "thann".

But will the help really help you and YOUR church?

I'm wondering the same thing.

Oops! I emailed "auntieflea" and I'll wait for her response in order to find out whom I can send a check to. Please feel free to ignore my other comments.
