Does it mean anything that Blogger doesn't "take" all of my blog entries? Or is it my computer which boots off my blog entries? The first time my blog entry blew away without showing up on the blog, I thought, "well, it was a goofy entry anyway". It's discouraging.
Doesn't matter.
The LD is at a birthday party with girls and boys. Being free from her "double secret probation, etc." is great. The LS will go pick her up before the party ends. I don't want her standing around at closing time.
I'm supposed to be working on my sermon but I came here to....well....just...look around. Yeah. Just look around. I'm procrastinating like a pro.
Back later. Take care of your bloggy selves....

Oh my goodness. I have been reading your great comments on reverend mommy forever! I would click on your blogger profile and that page showed recent posts from last October. So I thought oh, she doesn't blog much anymore.
Wrong!
So now I have some catching up to do. :-)
I am Presbyterian also. Send me an e-mail sometime if you wanna do the degrees of separation.
I'll definitely be back here too!
I do the reading blogs thing, too, when I ought to be sermon-writing. My average Sunday sermon gets finished about 8 a.m. on Sunday morning, but that's after considerable discussion and pondering earlier in the week. I love to have what I call a "deep outline" in place, but it isn't always that organized. Today, for instance, I had written associations for each of the three passages I was working on, and had a personal story to go with them, but it wasn't until I peeked at a lectionary site and read that Psalm 121 was a traveler's psalm that I finally saw how the pieces needed to fit together.
That was a bit reckless, although I suppose I would have found some other pattern without that bit of info.
Anyway, maybe it isn't procrastination. Perhaps it is simply percolation.
