Maybe February just isn't a good idea.

don't you believe it. Feb is a million times better than Jan. At least here. go skip over to stf and see today's photo for evidence. The. sun. shone! (started off real dismal mind) and what's more we have daylight until after 5pm. AFTER. 5. PM!
Yup, it WAS pretty gray yesterday, wasn't it? We left yesterday afternoon and headed north, hoping to beat the expected snowstorm up here (which we did, by barely a few snowflakes).
Sorry we didn't get to meet up, but know you're in my thoughts. Feel sunshiny...
We're counting down the hours until the blizzard arrives here. I've known all along that Pure Luck's February departure date for points south would bring us the snow we haven't been getting all winter, and here it comes!!
it snows more here when hubby's away too. or used to. now that TS helps (albeit reluctantly) there's not much difference in when the snow falls. funny that!

I am in favor of eliminating February.
