Hot enough for you?

No. I'm studying Life in Hell for a research grant.
I don't know. How hot does it have to be?
It's Summer! What Do You Expect?
Hot? This is NOTHING compared to when I was a kid!

Sure is! Especially when the heat, um, flashes!

Uh all the above. I've been dreaming of swimming in the lakes that I used to swim in when I was a kid, just to get out of the hot. Why when I was a kid there was no air conditioning. I'll stop right there, and keep dreaming of swimming.

One of the things that makes living in Boring Rustbelt City better than living in the Deep South. I sure don't miss Atlanta in the summer!! Praying for you...

To me, the classic witticism about hot weather came from General William Tecumseh Sherman :

" If I owned Hell and Texas, I'd live in Hell and rent out Texas."

Summer down here is definitely not for wussies.

Is it too hot for you to blog? Because I am visiting you an embarassing number of times a day, eagerly awaiting some wisdom or humor or both.

Songbird, I've been busy and everytime I've wanted to blog someone hollars for me to do something else.

My blog thing is messed up and the posts don't appear to really far down the page. Mr. C. points this out to me daily. I'm not sure how to fix it.

Here in Washington, it's supposed to hit 100 with a heat index of at least 105. Suffice to say I won't be out of doors if I can help it. When i do, I may put a wet washcloth on my head!

Cute poll! Anything over 85 is too hot for me. I'm an AC gal. We've only been in the 90's so for some that might seem coolish.
When it's that hot, I dream of spending the day in a pool ( a private one - so as not to frighten anyone by thinking they're seeing a whale in their pool!!)
Where are those "Alberta Clippers" when you need them?
Hoping you'll catch a cool breeze one of these days.
