Please Explain This To Me...

Using simple words and speaking in a slow tempo, help me understand this:

Ruth Gledhill - Times Online - WBLG: Let women give birth to human-animals say Catholic bishops

I haven't heard from the Vet about Fish yet. I assume he is in surgery or in the recovery room. I hope they keep a blanket on him because recovery rooms are COLD. I'll let you know when I hear anything although it will be this afternoon when I report back to you. We have a long day with a Big Visiting PCUSA Person over in the next county.

What I get from the article: From the perspective of the Catholic Bishops, as long as women are not controlling their own bodies, all is well. Fireplace!

Praying for Fish here...

Okay, first up, animals are human...just a little different.
Don't want to give birth to a cat, though....You ever see what a Mama Cat does once the kittens come out? Ewwweeee!
Next, if got had meant for me to give birth to cats or other animals...I would have been blessed with more boobies.
Victoria's Secret would only be so happy as to invent a bra that would accomidate me.
Have you seen the bra you can wear 100 different ways?
Finally, Fish is in our prayers. We hope all is well and are trusting God's care and love.
Do keep us updated. :)
My word verification is ridiculous. Lots of letters jumbled together. I need a pair of dime store glasses to read it.

Fish is more important than this weird stuff!! Prayers for Fish!!

What I know of biology, and it is dangerously incomplete, a so called human chimaera happens when a woman conceives monozygotic (identical) twins and one of those twins is absorbed by the other in the womb, before birth.

This other stuff I believe is made up. Because the only instance I know of where different mammalian species successfully produce offspring, outside or inside a womb, is a mule which comes from a horse and a donkey. The DNA just doesn't dance well together when you try to mix us up.

Oy. The Catholic bishops have wayyy too much time on their hands, I think.

Prayers for Fish going up!

Stopping by to check on Fish before I go to bed. I'll continue praying.

Prayers for Fish and all who Fish calls family...hugs

As for chimera and laws about who can carry them...I can't help but wonder...IF the chimera is 50.1 percent human and 49.9 percent, O, I don't know...cow...isn't it a bit dangerous for the human woman to carry the, um, refugee from the Island of Dr. Moreau. This is just gross....But I suppose the Bishops had some extra time on their hands since they've safely relegated the rest of us to "wounded," not quite really church folks....

Sorry, that comes off as bitter, when I was really trying to be funny...the whole thing is absurd....
