Ok, may February IS a good idea.

Sunny and in the 70's here today.

My azaleas are beginning to bloom.

I have never had any luck with azaelas.
We have japonica bushes blooming in the back yard today but by the weekend they will be frozen (according to the weather man).

Hi St Casserole

I stumbled across you by accident last April, you were in the middle of an April Fool's prank in relation to the name of your blog.

I just wanted to say thank you. You were the first contact I had with the online blogging community. I was looking for other women with similar ministry experiences to myself. I am now blogging away to my hearts content, and am finding the support I was looking for.

Your blog was the first step in that journey, thank you

Blessings
Emma

We had a lovely warm day, but winter will be back over the weekend. Ah, well.

The folks running the annual Azalea Trail in Houston are panicked because the warm winter has all the azaleas blooming a month early. So they are frantically dumping ice on the plant's roots in an attempt to keep the sap from rising!

So, azaleas, those are flowers right?

We've got at least two more months of winter here, I'd forgotten all about flowers. This morning we woke to wind chills of - 45 C

The Fahrenheit and Celcius scales meet at the point of -40, which is to say it's bloody cold here. Thanks for the lovely flower pic -- it gives me hope for warmer days!
