More Random Than Usual

I wish we could take back our words, erase them, as quickly as this computer can backspace.

Have we developed all the swim strokes possible for the human body? I don't mean adding technology of equiptment or medical enhancements. Do we know all the swimming strokes human bodies can do now?

Why does chronological age bother us? When I was five, I felt old enough and competent for life. When I turned 20, I wondered if there was any interesting life left.

Just thinking. How's it going for you?

I am so sorry you are at that place. I hate the place that I am at right now.

So, why don't you pull up a seat and sit with the rest of us ~grins~

It is happening every where and for many different reasons.

When I used to coach Special Olympics swimming, my swimmers would make up strokes. They weren't particularly efficient, but nobody drowned and they moved forward, so I think there are lots more strokes to discover.

Princess and Bear:
I'm sitting with you, Princess and I suggest we go watch the S.O. swimmers with Bear to learn new swim techniques. Ok? See you there!

I am there with you, sisters. How to share feelings of worry with one you love and yet not make them feel powerless or angry or whatever? How to take on a challenge and not pre-judge yourself a failure? I could use some new strokes, strokes I can believe in even if no one else knows them. Yes, I'm with you.

I'm finding I'm feeling periodically like I'm drowning in new stuff that has to be dealt with. when I stop and tread water or float for a while, I realize it isn't so bad, and I won't drown. I just need to do one stroke at a time.

Shall we all float together?

One stroke at a time.
I actually feel like l've been hibernating and just now am emerging from the cave.
I hope I'm not a grumpy bear...

I vote for SITTING (or laying) on an inner tube and going down the lazy river.

hand in hand -and laughing at the splashes on the way.

well,
what are you all waiting for ...?
