O Lord, Thou knowest that when thy servant, Jim Cantore of the Weather Channel, appears in one's general geographic area that one is in great travail. We have seen Jim Cantore on the television and web site and tremble before You. You who are able to speak in the great wind or still small voice, send Jim Cantore farther East by several hundred miles or West by several hundred miles, we pray You. Amen.

My husband wants to know if you've been sowing the wind down there, but I simply send hugs.

Wow. Pat Robertson could not have done better.
Hope things work out for you.
I'm sorry, we don't want him in the West either. I am further to the West than New Orleans and the local weather people are saying we might be in for some of it.
Hugs and prayers to you are in order.
I would send you the locally (in)famous weathercaster Gary England, but he wouldn't do you any good, either.
Lots of hugs from me, too.
Jim Cantore has been doing such a great job! I loved his answer when he was asked what people should do if they decided to stay behind and his advice was to "get down on their knees and pray." My roommate wouldn't believe they would allow this on TV, did anyone else see him say this last night?
We don't want Katrina further to the East, either. Well pray you got out safely, that you lost no people, pets, or property to the Almighty Wind, and that your community is able to put back to rights as soon as possible with a minimum of fuss.
