Fish's fracture is healing!!! He is taking much longer to heal than his pawpedic vet likes, but healing he is!

I told her that people around the world were praying for him. She said, "I can tell."

Two more weeks with a fresh lighter weight cast, then back to Dr. D. for more xrays.

Thanks be to God!

What encouraging news for you all, especially for him.

I visit your blog regularly and have seen your comments about the aftermath of Katrina. I found this reference today, http://denverpickles.blogspot.com/2007/06/enough.html, on another blog. Too sad.

North Queensland was hit by acyclone last year of the same intensity as Katrina and it did much damage. I'm not sure how much recoveryy there has been. Certainly the banana crop was wiped oot for about a year. My state, New South Wales has had 4 low pressure cells in a month with cyclonic force winds and huge amounts of rain. Massive seas too. Lots of damage, even though the rain was welcome as we have had a severe drought here for years.

I would have emailed you the above link but could not see a link, so hope you don't mind my using the comments to send it to you.

Please tell Fish to still take things easy, although I'm sure he's overjoyed at the news too.

I'm so glad he's healing. Little Kitty spent 3 days in the kitty hospital and told me when she got back it was NO FUN.
Lots of love to Fish.
