I begin the drive South tomorrow morning. Rain all the way down the East Coast is predicted so I may be splashing toward home.

Still unsure about which lectionary passage I'll use for my sermon Sunday. I've read each passage several times but will decide en route. Driving alone gives me quiet time. I've got THE KITE RUNNER on CD for entertainment, too.

More later,
St Casserole

Lorna, LD and kitties will stay with my LLS and LSiL. The school system in my area is disrupted with many children registred in every state imaginable. LD needs the kittens for comfort and, I will say, the kittens are very happy here.

The Kite Runner is a great book! Good choice.

Blessings on your journey. Let us know when you arrive safe and sound, okay? We worry...

Safe travels to you! you will be in our prayers throughout.

If you run out of that book to listen to, did you know you can stop in at any Cracker Barrel and rent a book in their store? What a deal!

hugs

Sometimes it's nice to have a long drive by yourself with a good book on CD. Traveling mercies.

God's hand on your shoulder as you drive home. What's that Irish blessing: "May the wind be at your back..."? Perhaps my best wish would be no wind at all, just calm skies and open gas stations.

I love driving with books on tape, although I admit a fondness for loud gospel music that I can sing along to.

I know your congregation will be so glad to have you home. Take care.

I'm just home...and it feels good to be back, even after only 4 days away. Go well, and blessings on your arrival too.
