Why pay insurance premiums if the insurance industry ducks it's policy holders on a quibble? I was told that I didn't need flood insurance by my agent. What's going on here? Why isn't there an outcry over the insurance industry's lack of fairness?
I live just over the Miami-Dade county line in Broward County. I am one of the few people in Broward County that is not required by law to have flood insurance, which as you know is very expensive.
I do without. And at every hurricane I fret deeply about that decision.
So far, so good, but I often feel I am wrecklessly pushing my luck.
