I'm with you baby! Even if Dean doesn't come our way, the anxiety alone is more than we need.

How do you manage to balance being appropriately prepared and not bursting into tears at the mere thought of another big storm?

Hang in there St. Casserole, hang in there. What else is there to do? I'm working to stay calm over here. It's a bit harder than I thought it would be.

EWWWW is right. We're still drying out from Tropical Storm Erin that dumped up to 10 inches on some parts of Houston--and now it looks like we'll certainly be affected by this.

Double dipped oreos heck. I'm looking for the tequila.

This morning on some news channel, the weather folk were answering questions about the hurricane e-mailed in by viewers. (O brave new interactive world!)

A man from McAllen, TX, just 70 miles inland (west) from South Padre Island (where it sure looks like Dean plans to make landfall) wanted to know if he might see some tornadoes as a result of the hurricane?

Um, yeah. Think he just moved to that area? From, maybe, Mars?

Praying for everyone in the path...and will be happy to partake of Oreos AND tequila in your honors...

Please pass the Oreos.

Prayers going up for all in Dean's path.
I honeslty don't knw why some of the Carribean Islands have not just flooded out or floated away.
Poor Jamaica.
If folks need a place to stay, Southeast Alabama is a good welcome station. Melech would welcome his revpetpals with open arms and I will greet with an open bottle of wine.

Oh my. I hope it loses steam over the ocean.

BTW, if you need to dry out, come to California where we have onlyl 1% humidity. I'll have chocolate covered Oreos, tequila and lots of sunshine.

This HAS to pass over. Amen.

Oh goodness! Only just getting back to blogs after being away...now, how do I find out what's going on for you? You're so much in my prayers.
Love and hugs and any number of choc dipped oreos (I had a wonderful pudding called oreo smash in a pub while on holiday - unbelievably chocolatey...thought of all my revgalpals as I yummed through it)
Take care my friend xx

So sorry for people of Jamaica and everyone else affected. Praying Dean doesn't hit you, or any other populated area.
